Kingswood, Blairgowrie
Kingswood is a small development located in Rosemount, on the outskirts of Blairgowrie. Just a short commute to both Perth or Dundee, it offers a more rural setting for those looking to escape from the rat race, but with a plentiful supply of shops and restaurants in the nearby town centre.
The town is best known for its love of Golf with no less than nine courses available within a short drive, however it has a lot more to offer for visitors and residents.
Got a love for the outdoors? Blairgowrie is set at the foot of the glens with plenty of walking available on the well known Cateran trail and surrounding hills. The town also acts as the gateway to Glenshee which is well reputed for its ski season facilities.
You will encounter quiet country roads in most directions amplifying a relaxed rural vibe. However, with Dundee, Perth, Forfar and Dunkeld all located within less than 20 miles you are within easy reach of other vibrant towns if you are in the mood to explore.
